Cyndi Dodes is a New York based artist, living an hour north of New York City among the trees. She graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in Illustration.
Cyndi is a traditional painter known for captivating portraits, animal studies, and delightfully quirky subjects. Blending refined realism with whimsical flair, she brings compelling personalities to life, translating personal narratives directly onto the canvas.
Her work is defined by a vibrant color palette, unexpected surreal environments, and an enduring reverence for the natural world. Infusing each composition with vivid hues and a touch of everyday magic, Cyndi captures the humor, poetic resilience, and inherent beauty of both nature and the human spirit.
